6 months of adventure - my travel plans

I've always liked flying. It's not only about the beautiful views you might be able to catch, but most of all the way it makes me feel. This might sound kind of cheesy, but to me there's something magical about getting on a plane - even if it's just a national or very short flight. Maybe it's the excitement of new adventures, unknown places and unknown people or just my constant longing for new experiences and memories getting fulfilled.

I personally could never imagine spending my life living in one place only and as much as I love home I'm constantly planning new trips as soon as another one ended.

I guess that's what some might call Wanderlust.

But now let's move on to the actual topic of this blogpost: my travel plans for the upcoming 6 months. Many people asked me about where exactly I'll go and what exactly I'll do, so I thought I could just outline what I've already planned.

I will start my adventure in Brisbane, where I'll be working as an Au Pair until the end of January. For me this was just the perfect option because I wanted to have some kind of home base before I'll start living on the road and I wanted to not only experience Australia as a tourist/backpacker but also feel at least a little bit like a local. Luckily, I found a really lovely and fun family and I couldn't be happier about it. I haven't planned to write a lot about the Au Pair work itself, but if anyone of you is interested in that, just let me know.

So after I'll finish my Au Pair time, two of my best friends from Germany are coming over and we'll be road tripping all the way down the coast from Brisbane to Melbourne. During that time I'll also have an exciting project/collaboration planned, which I can't wait to share with you. So stay tuned for lots of cool content during this month!

After my friends fly back to Germany I actually have about 2/3 weeks left where I can plan anything I like. At the moment visiting New Zealand or Tasmania seems really interesting to me, but let's see what happens.

My big adventure will eventually end in Asia. I'll first meet up with my mother in Singapore and then with the rest of my family on Bali, where we'll have a two week family holiday and enough time for a great reunion.

I hope I could give you a good idea about what I'll be doing in the next few months and you're just excited as I am. I'll definitely let you know about everything interesting: travel guides, shooting results and all my other experiences will be shared on this blog. And of course I already added some pictures from my first week in Brisbane to this blogpost. I hope you like them.
